Jet will be releasing new 15-18 cm and 51cm bandsaws with steel frames. These saws have large resaw capabilities and are available in three sizes. Steel frames have a lower flex than iron c-frame bandssaws. The large resaw capacities of the 38 cm and 41 cm models, respectively, are ideal for cutting tall stock.
The 38 cm models have a 36 cm maximum resaw capacity. This means that you don’t need to buy a riser block to increase your capacity.
All these new bandsaws feature ball bearing upper and lower blade guides along with dual 10 cm dust ports for added dust collection. These large tables are also available:

All of the new bandsaws are equipped with extruded aluminum, dual-position fencesthat can be used flat for inlays and furring strips or upright for crown molding and othermaterials. They slide on a steel guardrail and can be adjusted with a micro-adjust and scale laser-etched.
The 38 cm and 46 cm models come with two selection of motors with a 1-3/4 HP motor prewired for 115V (can be wired for 230) and a 3 HP motor wired for 230V, while the 51 cm models come with two selection of motors with a 3 HP motor or a 5 HP both wired for 230V.

The new JET bandsaws have resaw and/or rip capabilities that allow them to perform more woodcutting tasks efficiently and accurately. These bandsaws are ideal for large-sized wood cutting, cutting veneers, shaping curves for furniture and cabinetry, creating intricate scrollwork, and cutting book-matched panels.
The new JET 38cm bandsaws have a resaw height of 36 cm. This is 10 cm more than the previous models. The 46 cm and 51 cm bandsaws boast a full 41 cm resawcapacity, which is a 3 increase over their predecessors.
The 38 cm bandsaws table measures 21 L x 41 Cm W. The oversizetable of the 46 and 51 cm saws is 27 L x 51 Cm W. Supporting a wide range of bevel cuts, the cast-iron tables have a tilt of 0-45o right and 0-5o left. There is a standard miter slot. A 4 handwheel with easy-to-read scale allows for quick and precise table angleadjustments. The 38 cm bandsaws table height is 89 cm from the floor and the tables of the18 and 51 cm saws are set at 94 cm.
The new bandsaws come with dual-position extruded aluminum fences that can be used either flat or up for crown molding and furring strips. They slide on a steel guardrail and can be adjusted with a micro-adjust and scale laser-etched.
The floor-standing bandsaws are made of tough steel frames with wide bases. This provides stability for smooth operation and support while minimizing vibration. Cast ironblade wheels are precisely machined and computer balanced to reduce vibration andensure accurate blade tracking. They are equipped with polyurethane tires.
The saws are driven by single-phase motors ranging from 1 to 5 hp, prewired for 115or 230V service. All models include a safety key and a paddle off-switch.
By turning a handwheel, precise blade tension adjustments can be made. The scale can also be viewed through an upper window. There are three options for quick release: full tension, partial tension, and full release. This is provided formaking blade changes and relaxing the blade when not in use. This slotted table makes it easy to remove the front blade.
The saws are equipped with four-sided bladeguards. Single-knob adjustmentsimplifies the blade tracking process, and a blade tracking window provides a clear viewof the blade during tracking.
Dual 10 cm-diameter dust ports, located at the back of the bandsaw, connect to a dustcollection system and require a minimum capacity of 400 CFM.
