New M18 FUEL Magnetic Drills Drive Safety & Productivity

This market has been moving to smaller magnetic drills for years. However, no one has been capable of providing a solution for users who have limited access to power or drills vertically or overhead and frequently encounter thin metal. The new M18 FUEL magnetic drills are a great option for anyone who uses a magnetic drill. With a focus on vertical and overhead drilling environments, Milwaukee has improved the traditional ergonomic design of the tools to speed up the positioning and drilling process in these orientations.
In addition, the new products will feature a patented magnetic base that delivers safer drilling in steel by providing the strongest magnetic hold on this
material. Permanent magnets are used in the new tools. This ensures that the magnetic base does not need electricity and that it will continue to function even if the battery is depleted. Auto-Stop liftoff detection allows the motor to be automatically shut off if there is excessive rotation.
On top of game-changing drilling and magnet technology, the M18 FUEL 1-
Plowman says that most magnetic drills have two set screws to hold cutting accessories in place. These need to be tightened with a wrench. Often, these tools can become lost or stolen, making them unusable. Both drills are equipped with a Weldon quick-change chuck, making accessory changes fast and easy. The drills also include a Weldon-to-Chuck adapter that allows you to adjust the height of your motor head without the need for tools. This provides users the ability to switch from annular cutters to twist bits, faster and easier.
The drills can also be fitted with a 2-Speed gearbox and are optimized to work with annular cutters of up to 1.
